Most of that involved me not getting passed the first several missions because of my poor positioning and friendly fire. It was one of those games that I REALLY wanted to play but couldn't because I couldn't figure it out.
Now that you mention that, it occurs to me that it was very difficult to position yourself correctly in the game. Especially in the missions where you had to escort someone.
I always bunched everyone up and inevitably they would shoot each other...and then when I tried to split them up, I couldn't react fast enough to help out squadmates who were being picked off by the enemy...my squad suffered greatly when I played LOL
Syndicate was epic for its time. Me and my best friend in highschool stayed up late many nights trying to beat the final level. There has never been anything like it since.
Syndicate sure brings back memories. That opening cutscene was something when I watched it in 1995-6 (don't remember when, but I was like 10, maybe). Makes me want to play something similar and check whether Satellite Reign plays well on a handheld.
Syndicate brings back SO MANY MEMORIES.

Very nice. :) It captured the cyberpunk atmosphere very well at the time.

Absolutely. The opening sequence was great but it took ages to load. Good memories. :)
