Dear Friends,
Welcome to this week’s edition of Cybercade. I hope you are all well.
If you're new here: Cybercade is a game discovery newsletter. Each week I handpick new and upcoming titles that deserve your attention, spanning across genres and platforms.
This week’s selection brings together four distinct upcoming titles: a rhythm-fueled rebellion, strategic space deckbuilding, post-apocalyptic survival, and cozy oceanic construction. Plus, we revisit a crown jewel of '90s point-and-click adventures.
Let’s get to it.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis – A Point-and-Click Adventure Classic
Developer/Publisher: LucasArts
Release Year: 1992
Platforms: Amiga, FM Towns, Linux, Mac, PC
Genre: Point-and-Click Adventure
What is Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis About?
Set in 1939 on the eve of World War II, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis follows the legendary archaeologist as he starts on a globe-trotting quest to uncover the secrets of the lost city of Atlantis. The story begins at Barnett College, where Indy discovers a mysterious Atlantean artifact, only for it to be stolen by Klaus Kerner, a Nazi agent. Teaming up with his former colleague Sophia Hapgood, Indy learns that the Nazis are after a powerful metal called orichalcum, believed to hold immense energy that could be weaponized.
Their journey takes them from New York to Monte Carlo, Algiers, Crete, and ultimately to the fabled Atlantis itself. Players solve puzzles, interact with a colorful cast of characters, and explore exotic locations. The game stands out for its branching paths—players can choose between Team, Wits, or Fists routes, each offering different puzzles, challenges, and story elements. This non-linear structure adds replay value and personalizes the adventure.
The gameplay is classic LucasArts: point-and-click exploration, clever dialogue, and inventive puzzles. Players often switch between Indy and Sophia, using their unique skills to overcome obstacles. The game combines humor, action, and mystery, capturing the spirit of the Indiana Jones films.
What Makes Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis So Special?
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is frequently cited as one of the greatest adventure games ever made. It expanded the mythos of Indiana Jones beyond the films, delivering a story and experience that many fans consider the true successor to the cinematic trilogy. For me, it represents the golden age of LucasArts adventures and a high point in interactive storytelling.

Wow, nice list. Wasteland Punk looks especially interesting, even thought I really don't enjoy turn-based RPGs!
